Our PIVOT students partnered with Mrs. Freese's agriculture class today to plant seeds that will grow into plants that will be planted in the boxes in the courtyard at BPSTIL. Some of these plants will eventually be used as seasoning for BPSTIL's culinary classes to make delicious dishes as culinary students learn more about cooking. PIVOT students really enjoyed working with the agriculture students on this project and look forward to monitoring the growth of these seeds into plants.

Our EMR students spent the afternoon practicing PPE skills and Workplace Safety. 🧤🦺
Hands-on training like this helps prepare them for real-world emergencies while building confidence in their ability to protect themselves and others.

On behalf of our Pre-Educator program, we want to thank Mrs. McConathy and Mrs. Sharp for coming and speaking with our students about careers in Speech-Language Pathology. Your insight, stories, and encouragement gave them a valuable look into a profession that plays such an important role in education!

Our IHO students recently participated in a Geriatric Simulation Lab, where they experienced firsthand some of the everyday challenges that come with aging. 🧓👓
From mobility limitations to vision and hearing changes, this immersive activity helped students gain a deeper understanding of the physical, emotional, and social experiences of older adults.
👏 We are proud of our students for embracing this unique learning opportunity and building the empathy and skills that will make them compassionate future healthcare professionals. 💙
