As part of the "Month of the Military Child", the Cope Ambassadors hosted the US Army Corps of Engineers, who presented a "Water Safety Initiative" demonstration for our students during PE classes. It was a great reminder for summer water safety!

Tomorrow, Monday, May 5th, is Cinco de Mayo! It is our final spirit day from our 5 days for 5 dollars. Only those who have already met the deadline may participate. All others should be in your regular school uniform tomorrow!


CMS is having a Sadie Hawkins dance after school on Friday, May 9 in the Cope Gym from 2:30-4:15. $5 for entry. Concessions will be sold. Please make plans to attend!

Two of our 8th grade students were recognized at the school board meeting on Thursday evening for their outstanding excellence! Carley Riley was recognized for being the first place winner at the STATE creative lecture competition in her pre-educator program. Marissa Salinas was recognized for being a STATE champion in her weight class for wrestling. We are so proud of you two, ladies! Keep being awesome! CMS will always be cheering for you!

Today we salute Mrs. Judy Grooms, principal at Cope Middle, for the fantastic job she does each day as it is National Principal's Day! She is truly the best and one-of-a-kind! We are so thankful for her! Please help us cheer and congratulate her on her special day.



CMS is extremely proud of our two eighth grade students who were selected as our 2025 Rising Stars, Jade Wileman and Gabriel Lopez. These two students have shown tremendous growth over their three years in middle school both academically and behaviorally. We hope they continues this trend as they transition to high school. Cheers for these two!!
